If students study in an Australian school for more than three months, they need to apply for a student visa. After students receive the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from the school, they can apply for a student visa. Applicants holding a Hong Kong SAR (HKSAR) passport or a British National Overseas (BNO) passport can apply for an electronic visa (eVisa) online. The visa needs to be applied for three months before the start of school. To avoid visa delays, it is recommended to apply as early as possible.
